During the
past decade, with strong government funding support and the return of more highly
trained and skilled scientists back to China, we have made great progress into
research on human health, agriculture, and the environment. In the light of
this exciting development, the China Association of Science and Technology (CAST)
that represents Chinese government, as well as the China Union of Life Science
Societies (CULSS) which recently was formed by all 18 Chinese national academic
societies in the field of life science, we are organizing the 2016 World Life
Science Conference on November 1-3, 2016, in Beijing. This conference aims to cover
basic research, technology development, medicine, government policies, and
science education in the areas of health, agriculture and environment. We
believe the conference will provide an excellent opportunity for communications
and collaborations among the scientists in life science.
